Task To transform the whole M.C.B.T. facade with the help of sculptures and a few modifications to the existing space. The whole stretch measured around 270 feet, situated on the East Coast Road. We had made a number of sculptures which consisted of 25 sand casts with attachment support and 21 metal sculptures which were surfaced and fabricated. 20 days is all we had to build around 40 sculptures A large variety of materials were used to construct these sculptures. The metal sculptures required 6 mm construction rods and for surfacing, materials like cane, bamboo. jute, rope, wire mesh, metal sheets and many more were used. The sand casts required cement, paper pulp mix and threaded rods. |
